Beyond Audio
Network & Wi-Fi

The infrastructure everything rides on.

Every system in a modern home — automation, audio, video, cameras, climate, doorbells — depends on the network underneath it. We build that network the way the rest of the industry builds for office towers: wired backbone, professional mesh, segmented and monitored.

AuthorizedAccess Networks

Wi-Fi is no longer optional.

Twenty years ago a network was a luxury. Today it is the foundation under everything — every touchpanel, every streamer, every camera, every shade motor, every doorbell. When it slows down, the whole house feels slow. When it drops, the whole house drops.

Consumer mesh kits are not built for a 7,000-square-foot stucco home with twenty wireless clients per bedroom. They are built for an apartment. The difference matters.

Wired backbone, professional mesh.

We design networks around a wired backbone — Cat6A or fiber between every access point, every TV, every rack. Wireless is the last hop, not the spine. On top of that backbone we install professional wireless from Access Networks — purpose-built for residential density, with the radio coverage and roaming behavior that consumer gear simply cannot match.

The result is a network that holds up under twenty 4K streams and forty IoT devices without breaking a sweat.

Remote management.

Access Networks and the platforms we build on are designed to be managed remotely. We monitor the health of every deployed network from our offices — link status, throughput, client load, firmware — and most issues are resolved before the homeowner notices.

When something does need attention on-site, we already know what it is before the truck rolls.

What gets installed.

  • Cat6A or fiber backbone to every device location
  • Enterprise wireless mesh — Access Networks
  • VLAN segmentation — guest, IoT, AV, work, security on separate networks
  • Hardware firewall with intrusion detection
  • Rack-mounted UPS for clean power and ride-through
  • Remote monitoring with proactive alerts
