Anthem builds the home-theater processors and amplifiers we specify when budget allows but the project does not warrant full separates. The AVM 90 processor is the heart of most of our 7.2.4 and 11.2.6 Dolby Atmos theaters. Anthem's ARC Genesis room correction is the best in the industry — measurably and audibly. Every Anthem installation we deliver is fully calibrated and tuned to the room.
AVM 90 — the modern reference processor.
The Anthem AVM 90 supports up to 15.4 channels of Dolby Atmos / DTS:X / IMAX Enhanced / Auro-3D, with reference HDMI 2.1 (4K/120, 8K/60) and dual subwoofer outputs with independent EQ. It is the most capable surround processor in the under-$10K segment of the market, and we have yet to find a $25K processor that meaningfully outperforms it on the test bench.
ARC Genesis room correction.
Anthem Room Correction (ARC Genesis) is the best room-correction system in residential AV. It measures your room with a calibrated USB microphone, generates a target curve based on Anthem's research on listener preferences, and applies parametric EQ to each channel. The audible improvement in a treated room is the difference between “good theater” and “reference cinema.” We perform a full ARC calibration on every Anthem installation.
MCA amplifiers — honest power.
The Anthem MCA series amplifiers (MCA 525, MCA 725, MCA 825) deliver clean, honest, ample power for every channel. Combined with the AVM 90, they produce the kind of dynamic range that lets a James Cameron film mix breathe at reference level without strain.
